Armoured Vehicles: Ensuring Your Security and Protection
If you’re shopping for armoured cars, you’re not alone. In today’s highly volatile world, personal safety has become an utmost concern for many individuals. We are particularly vulnerable when travelling, which is why bulletproof cars and armored trucks play a crucial role in preserving personal safety. When it comes to protection when you’re in transit, nothing rivals the security of a well-made armored vehicle.
INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing offers a wide range of armoured vehicles.
INKAS® manufactures a large variety of vehicles, including armored SUV’s, luxury cars, tactical armoured vehicles; armored cash-in-transit vehicles, armored buses and armored trucks. Our success at INKAS® lies in our ability to offer well-built vehicles to our customers, ensuring the utmost in efficiency, advanced technical ability and planned and controlled deployment.
Bulletproof Cars with Cutting-Edge Protection Technologies
Today’s armored vehicles have come a long way in terms of technology. Our armored cars and armored trucks are reinforced with various composite materials and metal plating systems so as to make them especially resistant to attacks of various types. Whether it is a simple bat-wielding assailant or a coordinated attack with explosives and/or firearms, these vehicles have been designed with all types of defensive scenarios in mind. Our armored cars incorporate revolutionary lightweight armor that can amount to 500kg less than other armored vehicles in the market. In addition to this, state-of-the-art finish and standard protection coverage allow these vehicles to seek new heights in the automobile industry.
Some of the key features that make our armoured vehicles moving fortresses include:
Essentially, the element that makes armored cars or armored trucks ‘armored’ is the thick metal plating system that is installed onto the sub-frame of the car. This armoring feature, depending on the thickness of the metal plates and the alloy used, has the ability to protect the passenger from anything ranging from .22 bullets to that of armor-piercing projectiles. In addition to this, floor plates are installed to protect the vehicle from detonation devices placed below the vehicle floor. The doors are sturdier, the brakes are very powerful and the suspension features are also strengthened.
Even a small nail can render an ordinary tire inoperable, however our armored vehicles make use of specialty tires called run-flat devices. These tires consist of an inner “donut” frame, comprised of both alloy and composite materials, which sits directly on the rim and within the tire. In the case of deflation, this inner donut allows the vehicle to travel as much as 60 miles at speeds up to 60 mph.
This armored vehicle feature is also known as ‘transparent armor’ or ‘ballistic glass’ or ‘bulletproof glass’. While there isn’t a single glass in the world that can be rendered completely bulletproof to any type of attack, ballistic glass is manufactured in varying thicknesses, allowing it to be rated to withstand attacks from high-caliber assault rifles, sniper rifles and even heavier artillery such as RPGs.
In many cases, an attack may come in the form of one vehicle being used to ram another. In order to mitigate these types of risks, we can install grill and bumper guards that will both create additional reinforcement to the armored vehicle’s edges as well as protect key components behind the grill such as the radiator and engine assembly. Using this feature, the armored vehicle can also remove debris or vehicles that are blocking the road with minimal hindrance to its speed, control and overall reliability. Our engineering team is focused on the quality production of armored vehicles while consistently seeking ways to increase production efficiency, vehicle comfort, reliability and cost-awareness. Every vehicle manufactured by INKAS® is subject to stringent quality control standards and ensures that all the parts pass through the OEM diagnostic process. You can schedule a visit today to find out how we are continually pushing the boundaries of the industry and setting international quality standards for armored cars and armored trucks around the world.
