The Sentry ARV features a 12 ton retracted recovery boom with dual in-line planetary winches complete with air free spool and ~46m of 11mm wire rope. The recovery boom at full extension reaches 1.8 meters past the tailboard when horizontal and can be elevated up to 41 degrees. The under lift provides up to 2 meters of reach with a lift capacity of 3 tons extended and 4.1 tons retracted using the lift forks. The tailboard of the ARV includes rear “D” rings, built in safety chain pockets, recessed area for air and auxiliary light plug ins along with optional multi-position hydraulic rear spades. The ARV has spacious storage for field tools and attachments.
The Sentry ARV can be equipped with dual protective layers ensuring its passengers’ safety from both ballistic as well as blast attacks. The advanced armoring materials provide protection against 7.62×39 API BZ ammunition and are tested to meet up to STANAG-4569 Level II. The blast protection level of the vehicle is tested to meet up to STANAG-4569 Level 2a, with up to 6 kg (explosive mass) Blast AT mine explosion pressure activated under any wheel. The well-equipped ARV features perimeter armoring of the passenger compartment, engine bay as well as key mechanical components. The vehicle is equipped with multi-layer ballistic glass and INKAS® proprietary overlap system to protect from bullets penetrating the seams of doors into the cabin. Each armor plate is laboratory tested and certified not only by INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing, but also by third party laboratories as required by law.
