INKAS® continues to advance allied defense capabilities with the INKAS® M1 MRAP, a next-generation armored vehicle developed through close industrial collaboration between Canada and France.

Designed to meet modern operational requirements and NATO-aligned standards, the M1 represents a tangible commitment to interoperability, shared security priorities, and transatlantic defense cooperation.

Developed in collaboration with Texelis, the M1 integrates a proven French mobility architecture with Canadian engineering, manufacturing, and systems integration expertise.

This collaboration reflects the long-standing defense relationship between two NATO partners committed to strengthening collective readiness, resilience, and operational effectiveness across allied forces.

Collaborative Manufacturing With France and Canada

Purpose-built for critical threat environments, the INKAS® M1 MRAP delivers comprehensive 360-degree ballistic and blast protection in accordance with NATO STANAG standards, while maintaining high mobility across varied terrains. Its modular platform enables rapid adaptation to multiple mission profiles, including troop transport, command and control, reconnaissance, medical evacuation, and emerging unmanned and counter-UAS operations. This flexibility allows defense forces to standardize on a single platform while supporting diverse operational requirements.

Beyond performance, the M1 reflects a broader strategic objective: reinforcing allied defense industrial bases through trusted, compliant, and collaborative manufacturing. By aligning design, testing, and production with NATO requirements, INKAS® ensures that the M1 is compatible with allied doctrine, logistics frameworks, and future force modernization initiatives.

“The M1 represents more than a new armored platform; it reflects how allied nations can translate shared standards, trusted partnerships, and operational experience into real capability,” said David Khazanski, CEO of INKAS®. “Through close Canadian–French collaboration, we have delivered a vehicle designed to support NATO interoperability while reinforcing the strategic defense relationship between our two countries.”

The M1 stands as a clear example of how multinational collaboration can translate into deployable, mission-ready capability aligned with collective defense objectives.

As geopolitical dynamics continue to evolve, INKAS® remains focused on delivering compliant, reliable, and partner-driven defense solutions that support allied nations, strengthen collective security, and ensure operational confidence in increasingly complex operational environments.
