Our armored vehicles are prepared with the highest standards. Professional engineers carefully inspect each stage the vehicle goes through to ensure maximum security. These are the three stages a new vehicle goes through to be classified as an INKAS® armored vehicle. These stages include: 1. Preparation Stage: Design and Engineering: The process begins with the engineering team utilizing 3D modeling software to design the specific components required for armoring each vehicle model. Disassembly: Technicians strip the vehicle entirely down to its bare frame, inspecting and organizing the original vehicle parts in preparation for the armoring stage. 2. Armoring Stage: Armor Installation: Laser-cut ballistic steel materials are installed within the vehicle's frame, providing 360° protection, including the roof, floor, and ceiling. Component Protection: Critical components such as the gas tank, engine control unit (ECU), and battery are armored to ensure functionality under attack. Reinforcements: The suspension and braking systems are reinforced to handle the additional weight of the armor. Runflat system: The vehicle's rims are fitted with runflat devices, enabling travel at full speed for up to an hour, even with completely punctured tires. 3. Finalization Stage: Reassembly: The vehicle's interior is reassembled, with attention to detail to ensure the finished product matches the original seamlessly. Additional Features: Any requested protective technologies, such as smokescreen devices, sirens, spotlights, or dual door locking systems, are installed during this stage. Quality Control: The vehicle undergoes a thorough inspection and road test to ensure it meets strict quality and performance standards. Visit Our Process page for more information!
We specialize in armoring high-end vehicles using certified ballistic materials that meet international protection standards. As a direct manufacturer, we primarily work with brand-new, factory-stock vehicles to ensure the highest level of quality control throughout the armoring process. While we occasionally accept trade-ins from returning clients, we generally avoid them due to the risks and complications they often present. Pre-owned vehicles can come with a range of hidden issues, from mechanical wear and tear to unknown modifications and potential liabilities, all of which can compromise the integrity and safety of the final armored product. By starting with a new vehicle, we maintain full visibility into its condition, service history, and structural integrity, which allows us to execute precise, customized armoring without uncertainty. This approach ensures that every armored vehicle we deliver upholds our rigorous standards for safety, performance, and reliability. See our inventory here!
Yes, at INKAS®, we offer the option for clients to bring their own vehicles to be armored. We specialize in armored sedans, SUVs, trucks, and special vehicles without interfering with the vehicle’s original design or style. If your vehicle can be found within their diverse lineup, they can perform the integration. Before any armoring, our engineers will assess the technical specifications of any new or used vehicle to ensure it is suitable, safe, and equipped for the armoring process. Factors such as the make, model, and condition of the vehicle are considered to ensure structural compatibility with ballistic materials and reinforcements. Once approved, skilled engineers carefully remove all external panels to add bullet-resistant steel, ballistic glass, and other security features. They then return the vehicle to its original state for near undetectable armoring. By bringing your own vehicle, you can combine the familiarity of your existing car with the advanced protection, resulting in a secure and reliable solution that fits your requirements and preferences. If your vehicle is already a part of our extensive armored vehicle lineup, we can armor your SUV, sedan, or truck! Explore the full lineup here.

Strict testing protocols are used to ensure the durability, safety, and reliability of our armored vehicles under the most demanding conditions. All ballistic materials, including the steel plating and ballistic windows, are tested separately to ensure they are up to code and perform their duties. This comprehensive process includes in-house testing, real-world simulations, and adherence to internationally recognized certification standards. 1. Third Party Testing: All our ballistic materials are tested and certified by third-party facilities that specialize in armored materials. These controlled tests verify the resistance of armored materials to bullets, shrapnel, and blasts while assessing structural integrity. 2. Real-World Simulations: Vehicles can undergo extensive testing under real-world conditions to evaluate their performance in terms of handling, braking, and overall functionality. This process ensures that the additional weight and modifications from armoring do not compromise the vehicle’s original design, reliability, or drivability. 3. International Certification Standards: Certifications are provided to meet globally recognized protection levels, including: All materials used are certified through independent, third-party ballistic laboratories to meet internationally recognized standards. Depending on the application, this includes CEN 1063 levels B4 to B7, NIJ 0101.06 levels II, III, and IV, as well as full vehicle certifications such as VPAM BRV VR7 for ballistic protection and blast resistance. By combining advanced manufacturing techniques, in-house expertise, and strict compliance with international standards, we at INKAS® ensure that both individual components and complete vehicles meet the highest levels of safety, performance, and long-term durability.
